The name "358" comes from its mesh size of 3" ×  0.5 ", 8 refers to its wire number(BWG), which is converted to 4mm, so the size of 358 guardrail is 76.2mm ×  12.7mm  ×  4mm. (hole length × Hole height × Wire diameter).
358 safety barrier has narrow mesh and is not easy to be penetrated by objects. It is difficult to cut such a small mesh with traditional hand tools. It is not even easy to climb. It is recognized as one of the most difficult barriers to break through. Therefore, it is called safety barrier and has also become a high-strength barrier. The mesh part of 358 guardrail can also be bent to enhance the aesthetic effect.
