Product Description
Wedge wire Johnson screen filter tube, also called round slot tube. It is made of stainless steel wire, which is the most popular type because of outstanding chemical stability and corrosion resistance.
The wedge wire screen tube is composed of working profile and support profile. It is produced on an automotive machine. The support profiles is placed on the suit position of the machine,during the surface profiles are spirally wounding, the support profiles are welded onto the surface profiles.
The direction of the flow is determined by the position of the surface profiles in replation to the support bar. Wedge wire filter are either flow-out-to-in(FOTI) or Flow-in-to-out(FITO).
1. It has high mechanical strength, can bear large pressure drop;
2. It has equal slots for filtering, can form equally distributed filter cake, easy to clean for reusing;
3. The wedge type slot can improve backflushing and regeneration performance ;
4. It has resistance for pressure, temperature, aging,corrosion, can be applied for different kinds of fluid .
