Product Description

CuNi Alloy Constantan/Copper Nickel Alloy/Resistance Wire/Electric Heating WireConstantan is a resistance alloy with copper and nickel as the main component. It has a low resistance temperature
coefficient, a wide range of operating temperature (below 480ºC), excellent processing performance, has good welding
performance and so on. It is mainly used for making electronic components in instrumentation, electronics and industrial
equipment.

In addition, there is a new conatantan resistance alloy, copper iron based alloy, it has the same resistivity as constantan,
basically similar resistance temperature coefficient, and the same temperature.

Constantan wire is widely used for making electric heating elements in home appliances and industrial furnaces. Typical
applications are flat irons, ironing machines, water heaters, plastic moulding dies, soldering irons, metal sheathed tubular

elements and cartridge elements.
